Health and Home
So, I am finally back to about 99% of normal. No more phlegm or anything else, except for the occasional cough. I look forward to getting back into my routine this week. Sabine is busy planning a weekend getaway for us, so we can recharge our batteries, hopefully without spending too much money. We went and looked at some appliances for our house again today, only to want to cry. Who knew they were so expensive?

Speaking of our house, Sabine and I have been slowly uploading images taken of the building process on my Flickr account. If you are interested in what we are getting ourselves into, that is really where you can keep an eye on its progress.

Work
Other than that, I have been working my butt off. I have to admit, working with Jacob and Ahmed has taught me a lot. They are both visionaries when it comes to business and making money online, and even better, they are willing to hear my input.

Lately, more than ever before, I have felt a part of their team, and even more happy with my job. They are letting me pursue goals and ideas I have had for a long time. Great times!

Friends
I recently went over to Barry and Jo’s place. I got to hang out with Barry a fair bit. We played Dawn of War as a team against the computer. Fighting one computer, we can go all the way to the hardest skill level, called insane, but against two computer opponents we get slaughtered by an A.I. setting of difficult. It was amusing and frustrating.

I also got to try out his Wii. I played Wii Boxing for a bit, and was sweating pretty hard. I want one so bad now…

Tech and Gaming
My fascination with the MMORPG Eve Online is dwindling again as well. I got back on there a few months ago, to try out all the stuff that has been added to the game since last time I tried it…and now with work, the house, and other things, I just don’t feel like playing it anymore. Sabine will be happy, as it will save a few bucks every month, once I get rid of it.

Also, I now have four wireless routers in the apartment. One of them already has the DD-WRT firmware on it, so I was able to make it so that it is the wireless connection for my Xbox 360, and soon the multimedia box that I want to attach to our television. At least that is the plan I have for Beastly, our old main computer.

Web Stuff
On a completely different note, Facebook has brought me in touch with some interesting people. My whole family is joining up, including my grandma, and people that I haven’t thought about much since living in Masset, B.C. many years ago are now on my friends list. It makes the world feel so small.

My little infatuation with Twitter is gone though. I knew it wouldn’t last. I get bored of certain things much faster than the average person, and so Twitter just couldn’t hold my passion, energy, or focus for very long. I am not surprised though.

That’s it…
