Alec Saunders is taking note of all the bloggers that came to an ad-hoc round table session that happened near the end of BarCamp Ottawa on Blogging, it was really great. I got to sit next to some great people including James Cogan, Derek Featherstone, and Jonathan Snook.

It was a little scary for me, as I don’t really consider myself an expert on all things blogs, but the whole thing worked out well, and I did not have to do much talking.

People that did not have blogs seemed interested in the idea, and what it could possibly do for them, and those with blogs were looking to find out why there is no community in Ottawa for bloggers, as well as bounce some thoughts and ideas off of those in the session on the reasons why people blog, and how they do it.

We are all hoping that we can get something rolling, as even if there was just James, Derek, Jonathan, and I sitting around talking about blogging, doing a podcast or two, it would be sweet in my opinion.

So, if you came to BarCamp Ottawa or not, go to Alec Saunders site and comment on his blog with your URL, and if you are interested in getting together, let us know, either here, or on one of the sites mentioned.
