So a person from CTV responded to my e-mail on the Blogging segment during the news at noon. I am really impressed with the answer I got, and hope they do follow up on the story, and give it the credit it does deserve.

The answer I got basically said that they were not intending it to be the “definitive piece on blogging.” and that a large number of the news at noon viewers are young mothers, which makes sense. I never really thought about the demographic they would be trying to appeal to.

In the response he also mentions that he did not know that there are bloggers that earn a living from writing, and thought it could be very interesting.

Now for the interesting part, not only did he read my e-mail, but he checked out my blog, and the post I put up pertaining to the show, and commented on that in his e-mail to me. In my opinion that was above and beyond, and so I tip my hat to the staff of CTV, great stuff!

I know I already said this in my previous post, but the e-mail correspondance gives me hope that Blogging will be shown differently next time it is shown in traditional media.
