Jess Anastasia was on the #Habari IRC channel on the Freenode server and I was complaining how I had nothing to write about.

Thankfully Jess, a new 9rules member, suggested that I talk about sites I like. I told Jess that I am always looking for new sites to look at, subscribe to, or just read from time to time, and I asked for a URL. I checked out JessAnastasia.com and noticed at the bottom something interesting. Along with a copyright blob of text was a link to a changelog.

What is a changelog?

A changelog is a log or record of changes made to a project, such as a website or software project. Most open source projects include a changelog as one of the top level files in their distribution. The “history” link at the top of a Wikipedia entry is that page’s changelog.

This made me think to myself that I should have set one of these up a long time ago to track all the changes I do to my blog. From moving over to DavidCubed from PhoenixRealm, and all my design changes to pages added and removed. So I have added a Changelog to DavidCubed and from here on out, I will be tracking such things on that site (as long as I remember to do so).

So check out my currently empty changelog, and look forward to watching it expand.
