Tomorrow we close on our house. What exactly does closing on a house mean? Well, I am not entirely sure, but I do know it means we finally own the place.
Today we had to run all over to get stuff set up for the house. From buying a fridge, which won’t come until three days after we move in, to getting more paperwork to our great Mortgage Broker, Yvette, to seeing the house in St. Thomas and signing off that it looks good, which it definitely did, thanks Mauritzio, to meeting with the lawyer, Gord Johnson, and signing some papers. All in all, we have been running around since we woke up this morning.
It will be nice when it is all done. Tomorrow is going to be another stressful day, and then on Saturday we move. I still don’t have hydro moved over or my high speed internet.
Fun times…

Congratulations on owning your first home!!!
I have been keeping up with you on here and I totally understand how stressed out you both must be - all good lessons to file away for your own (or anyone you know) future experiences.
I am soooo proud of you both!
Try to stay positive and remember to smile! It will all be a thing of the past in no time.
Love ya~

Sorry to hear this is such a busy event. I’ll have to remember this when I end up buying my own place.
I dunno if it’s possible, but leach off someone else’s WiFi for the time being.
Well good luck with the move and I’m sorry I could not help. Hope you and Sabine have an easy time moving in and everything else.
