Flying Lessons
I would love to learn to fly, but as my cousin has long since pointed out, it is not cheap. The Ottawa Flying Club has a flying lesson type service for $50 Canadian.
- A hands-on aircraft orientation, education and preflight demonstration
- A guided lesson on how to taxi and take-off
- Flying the aircraft! Under the guidance of your instructor, you will hold the controls and take your first flying lesson
- And…receive a photo of you next to the airplane!
Now if only I was not afraid of heights though I feel much safer in a plane than I do on the CN Tower or looking out the window of a tall building. I think flying a plane would be a real kick, and I think I might just do it this summer, atleast after I talk to a few people about it.

I wanna go flying again… I wonder if I could do that for $50 or if they would charge me more… lol… I wonder if I could do it to get my flight time back up….. Hum… You might just have something there Dave. Thanks for the help.
Good luck. Flying is SOOO much fun. As the flight instructor if he can show you was a “spin” is. Tell him, not a “spiral” but a spin. But hold on to your pants. It’s going to be a BLAST!
