I ordered my new computer parts a few days ago, and I was really hopefull that it would make it here by today, as they won’t deliver it on the weekend, and so I would be waiting until Monday or Tuesday to get my computer parts.

I continually check Purolator’s website to see where my package is, and it hasn’t changed since the shipment left Vancouver nearly three days ago.

It just says that the shipment was received and then sent out on the 13th. That’s it. For all I know it could be half way here or already in London somewhere, but I don’t know.

That is one thing that really annoys me with shipping packages in this day and age. You’d think we’d have some sort of system that would allow me to more precisely track my package as it travels along. Sometimes when I have a shipment coming with Canada Post, I don’t even know its here, until they ring my door. I check the website afterwards, and the information online hasn’t even been updated. Which makes the whole thing pretty useless.

I just want to know, in more or less real time, where my package is, or even where it should be, and the estimated time and date for delivery. Is that too much to ask?
