For everyone that wants to become a professional blogger, there is probably a number in their head thinking how much they would need to be paid to drop everything and blog professionally.

There are bloggers getting paid $100,000 and more either from a company or doing it on their own. Articles I have read say that the average problogger in the USA makes around $40,000 a year. That is almost $50,000 Canadian to do something that they probably love.

I would only need around $30,000 Canadian to be a problogger. Mostly since I require very little money to keep my debts low and have a reasonable life. That is around $2500 a month Canadian or a little over $2000 a month US.

I currently in my blogging endeavours make around $15 a month. I am a long ways away from doing it on my own.

If you were going to be a professional blogger, writing about a subject you love, what subject would it be and how much would be the minimum you’d need to do it as your sole job?
