I am looking to add some new writers to my sci-fi related blog WarpSection.com.
If you are interested in:
Or any other old/new sci-fi show and are looking to make a few dollars (not much but still some), writing about your passion, please leave a comment using the e-mail address I can contact you at or use my contact form.
I could also really use someone willing to write about upcoming sci-fi and superhero movies, the actors and whatnot involved, and getting the latest spoilers and details on the site.
Note: Please don’t contact me to write about Battlestar Galactica (seems all the writers I have on the site are all fighting over writing about it…lol).
Pay dependant on experience and writing skill.

I’m very interested in being a Sci-Fi Writer for you. If you want a sample of my writing style, you can visit my blog at http://lurkingrhythmically.blogspot.com/. In fact, I just recently reviewed Ghost Rider.
I have a passion for superhero, vampire, and werewolf movies, as well as most kinds of sci-fi. I suppose I could talk about Heroes and/or Lost, but you seem to have enough people doing that already.
I am basically a slightly weird, over-literate goth chick who loves making obscure references.
Call me.

I’ve never done this before but I wouldn’t mind writing about Heroes, and occasional movies if you had any you needed a writer for. Perhaps some examples of what you’re looking for would be good so I know what to aim for.

The only show on your list there that I am not or was not an almost obsessive fan of is Lost; all the rest I’ve been writing about on my own since the Internet was just a wee babe of a network.
I’m a freelance fiction writer and stay-at-home dad, and I’m always able to find time to write up thoughts on all sorts of thing.
I’d love to take part in letting a wider audience know all about the nitty-gritty, incredibly geeky details of what currently is known only to my close circle of geek friends. I look forward to hearing from you.

Except for an indepth review on an episode of The X-Files done for my high school’s Sci-Fi club, I have not really done any other sort of extensive reviewing of sci-fi shows aside from raving about them to friends. I am a huge fan of Joss Whedon and his work in Buffy/Angel/Firefly/Serenity and I am also an avid Lost/BSG/Heroes and 4400 viewer. I am one of those people who while watching shows such as Lost or the 4400, peruse message boards seeking others who also are in pursuit of finding some grand answer to puzzles left by the shows.
Just as Matt Silvernail requested, if you send examples of what you would like a standard review to entail, I could try writing for you.

I’m a big Firefly and Heroes fan, but clearly I have no time at all to write about them ![]()

Really enjoy science fiction, and just beginning as a writer learning the ins and outs of the writing community. Although I do enjoy all the new shows that have hit the sci-fi channel, my preference is for the old school flavor of Robert Heinlein, Kevin Anderson, Ray Bradbury and even L. Ron Hubbard.
Currently working on my own view of an encounter with the orign and future of mankind. Would really appreciate a push in the right direction.

Hello. I am not a professional writer but I do write and am currently writing a fantasy novel.
I LOVE sc-fi. Stargate is a programme that I am obsessed with to the point of wanting to design my house on the Stargate Sets. If you want a writer who is passionate, I am your lady. Not only do I love Stargate - I love anything (well almost anything) to do with Space and the power of the imagination!
If you have enough writers - then I wish you all the success.
Space out.

I’ve been writing sci-fi for 20 years (albeit unpublished!) and am a big fan too, so I’d be very interested in this. Contact me for some examples of my stuff.

You just mentioned to me the most important shows of all time. Just don’t forget Futurama and Invasion.

I love Sci-fi, and have plenty of free time. I’m a stay-at home mom, and do some writing on the side. I would be glad to do reviews, and I’m familiar with most of your list. Anything you need!

I notice that Warpsection is down. As a regular reader, I wonder if there are any plans on bringing it back up.

Dave,
I just came across your site while browsing for writing opportunities. I’m very interested in participating in your blog and would love to hear from you at your earliest convenience. My background is primarily in print media, but I’d love to get some experience writing for the internet community as well. Besides being an avid sci-fi fan, I have been an editor and staff writer for two U.S. Army newspapers, where I wrote everything from news stories, features and opinion columns to weekly book and movie reviews. I am now out of the service and wrapping up my mass communications degree at Jacksonville State University where I have also worked as a staff writer and producer of a weekly talk radio show radio.
It looks like you’ve gotten some nice responses to your query, but if you are still in need of writers, please contact me.
Thanks,
Dave Howell
