Today, I got to meet up with James Cogan, the owner of DailyPixel.com, a great Canadian blogging network.
He owns such blogs as Airport.ca, Engagements.ca, Footblog.com, Hell.ca and PrimeMinister.ca
We talked about the state of the blogging world, and the lack of real participants in Ottawa, which is the capital of the country, so we are thinking of bringing blogging a little more to the forefront in Ottawa. Don’t be surprised if you see some collaborations between him and I, as he has some great ideas, and more energy than I do, and I am a younger guy than him.
It is great to make more connections, and especially to get out of the apartment into the real world, and talk to a person face to face, and talk about something I am very in to. He showed me his 12″ Apple Powerbook and that just doubled my will to get my own laptop. I found out I can save 15% if I use my Visa card…not that my Visa currently goes as high as the value of the notebook I want…dang it…

David,
Thanks for the kind words, and ditto back at ya! Great meeting, great discussion and I know there’s gonna be more of that to come.
If my laptop mysteriously goes missing, at least I’ll know where to find it ![]()
