I second with SEO.

I ONLY use Stevia products for sweetners.

Stevia is a plant that is native to the rainforests, is 30x sweeter than sugar AND is safe for diabetics because it helps regulate the blood sugar. Go to www.SweetLeaf.com and you'll learn more about it....good luck!

I can strongly recommend Stevia. It seemed to help me cut sugar out of my diet.

I have found that drinking a minimum of two liters of water a day and maybe having a can of regular pop is not going to kill you. Not only does it make sure all the salts and stuff are flushed out of your body, but it also makes sure, for people like you that crave sweet drinks, that you are not cutting it out completly from your life.

I don't know if you have tired this, but it seems to be working for me.

Oh ya, just between you and I, I've lost 50lbs since May 5th, 2007. :D Go me!

Yeah, I think that is what I will have to do... And the good thing... I get to drink real fruit juices again, meaning I get whatever benefits that come along with that.

Well, i wás going to say "drink more water", but I guess that won't cut it ;)

But my collegue is working on losing massive amounts of weight because she wants to get pregnant, which ment that she had to cut back on a lot of sugar amongst other things. Basically what she does is just find natural alternatives, and no chemical counterparts. Like if she wants to sweeten her tea, she just uses honey (not the chemical crap, but the stuff you can get at stores like Trader Joes), if she craves chocolate she takes the purest chocolate she can get (contains less chemicals, especially the Swiss super pure stuff), and if she wants something like a coke, she just has fresh juice or anything natural that contains high amounts of natural sweeteners :)

I hope that helps :)

But what about doing a little bit of running or other kinds of sports? That should help a lot I think... especially for us internet-lovers, hehe. It helped me gain weight in no time at all (yes, I actually want to gain instead of lose it, hehe).

Missing from above:

Dave,

Take a look at this website: http://www.sethroberts.net/

When you feel full on empty calories [but not sugar] you eat less than what your body needs.

Another view:

http://www.gidiet.com/en-ca/index.php

When you eat foods that don't peak or crash your sugar levels you don't crave or binge on sugar drinks.

What do I do? A combination of both.

What do I drink?

60ml lemon juice *concentrate* mixed with 1L water. No sugar. Minimum 2L a day.

Best wishes and let us know how it goes.

Cheers,
