So today I got my new LCD monitor. The Samsung SyncMaster 915N, and it makes my older seventeen inch CRT look horrible. The CRT looks fuzzy, and dull, and I feel like I can see it flickering. The new nineteen inch LCD looks bright, almost too bright, and crisp. Also, running at 1280×1024 is a real shock when I am used to being at a much smaller 1024×768. I have my old CRT still hooked up as my secondary monitor. It is still running at 1024×768, and will serve as my story board, while I work on articles on the LCD.
I don’t know how I will adjust to this big change, and I don’t know how Sabine is going to react now that it is all hooked up .I will tell you one thing though, I almost feel like one of those computer people you see in the movies, with all their really cool computer equipment.
I guess that is all I can say about it for now. I have to do some colour, and tone customization, as well as some brightness and contrast changes to suit it for my needs. I don’t need a flashlight of a monitor, but it seems Samsung thinks I do.

Come on you can use it as a night light.
