It is strange to be wearing a wedding band all the time. Sometimes it gets in the way of what I am doing, other times I don’t notice it at all. My wedding band is very plain and simple, a piece of metal wrapped around my finger.
I wanted to make sure Sabine’s finger was wrapped in something nice, which didn’t leave much money for my band, but honestly, for me the symbol is what is important, not the actual ring itself.
Sometimes I find myself playing with it and wanting to take it off, but I don’t because of what it means. I have been told that I will get used to having it on, and then when I take it off, it will feel weird not having it on. I look forward to that point.
Don’t take any of this to mean that married life is weighing on me, as it isn’t, but for a guy that barely wears a watch, having a hunk of metal on my hand is a strange feeling.
Anyone else remember what it was like for the first while of wearing a ring? Did it ever annoy you? And how long was it until it felt normal?

Man, I envy you. I want to get married so bad. I have to wait since I am still in school and not holding down a well paying job, but man do I ever wanna get married.
Amy wants me to get a fancy wedding band but really all I want is one that is solid 14k yellow gold and is about 5 to 6mm width. No designs or anything else. I guess it’s because it’s very traditional and really fairly cheap. Most of the rings like that go between $60 to $100, which is all I wanna spend on my ring.
I’m really disappointed that I could not attend your wedding. I would really have enjoyed it and would have been really happy for you. I hope it all went as somewhat planned.
Again congratulations to you and Sabine.

You should put a picture up of your wedding band, just want to see what it looks like
